NORMIN, a strategic opportunity
Mining is going through a decisive moment. Copper and other critical minerals will support electrification, renewable energy, and the Internet of Things, but their supply depends on territories like ours. That is why we invite you to NORMIN 2025, the congress that will turn Cajamarca into the epicenter of the mining conversation from October 22 to 24, 2025.
For three days, operators, suppliers, researchers, and community leaders will share experiences to answer three major questions: how to attract responsible capital, how to forge lasting alliances with communities, and how to minimize water consumption and the carbon footprint.
The dialogue will be structured around six themes: investment, social coexistence, governance, water and waste management, energy transition, and local entrepreneurship. These will be presented not so much as lectures, but as testimonies of opportunities and challenges shared by their protagonists.
NORMIN aims to turn ideas into plans and plans into commitments. Each thematic axis will combine keynote lectures, roundtables, and a technology fair. It will be an event to connect northern Peru with the international agenda of critical minerals.
In a world competing for strategic resources, NORMIN 2025 will position Cajamarca as a benchmark of competitive, responsible, transparent mining aligned with the energy future of Peru and the world.
We look forward to seeing you there!
